Larks get off the blocks!

Larkhall Athletic secured a crucial opening-day victory against Melksham Town, coming from behind in an intense bank holiday encounter. The match showcased the team's resilience, particularly during a commanding second-half performance.

Sam Boulton opened the scoring for Larkhall approximately 20 minutes into the match with a close-range finish. However, Melksham responded through Ralph Graham, who struck twice to give the visitors a 2-1 halftime advantage.

The turning point came after the interval when Alex Camm entered as a substitute, providing crucial playmaking support. Alex Camm showed great creativity in midfield, delivering the assist for Harvey Flippance's powerful equalizer. Camm again proved instrumental late in the match, setting up Ryan Beckinsale for the winning goal with just five minutes remaining.

Goalkeeper Liam Armstrong made two crucial saves to protect Larkhall's advantage. Final Score: Larkhall Athletic 3, Melksham Town 2. Attendance: 320. Man of the Match: Alex Camm.
