Larkhall Athletic secured a crucial opening-day victory against Melksham Town, coming from behind in an intense bank holiday encounter. The match showcased the team's resilience, particularly during a commanding second-half performance.
Sam Boulton opened the scoring for Larkhall approximately 20 minutes into the match with a close-range finish. However, Melksham responded through Ralph Graham, who struck twice to give the visitors a 2-1 halftime advantage.
The turning point came after the interval when Alex Camm entered as a substitute, providing crucial playmaking support. Alex Camm showed great creativity in midfield, delivering the assist for Harvey Flippance's powerful equalizer.
