Larks ascend to Cup Semi! Larks 1-0 Wellington AFC

Larkhall Athletic advanced to the Somerset Premier Cup semi-finals with a dramatic late victory over Wellington AFC. Harvey Pritchard scored the decisive goal in the 89th minute, securing a 1-0 win in what proved to be a closely contested match.

The game lacked clear-cut opportunities throughout much of the contest. In the first half, Matt Bowman came closest to scoring when he headed wide from close range. Wellington nearly stole victory late when Ryan Brereton's long-range volley struck the crossbar. This moment seemed to galvanize Larkhall, and Pritchard subsequently weaved through defenders before finishing to secure victory.

Manager Ollie Price expressed satisfaction with the result, noting that we got the job done and it was a good workout. The semi-final will pit Larkhall against Taunton Town in a home fixture.
