Larkhall Athletic are delighted to confirm the appointment of John Durbin as our new Assistant Manager ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
A respected figure in non-league football across the South West, Durbin arrives at Plain Ham with an impressive coaching pedigree and a clear passion for the game—qualities that align perfectly with the club's ambition to push forward in the new season.
John Durbin's Statement
I'm thrilled to be joining Larkhall. It's always been a club I've admired and enjoyed visiting when I've played against them, so when Pricey contacted me about joining him in the dugout, I jumped at the chance. Our ambitions for the club are aligned and although this season has just ended, I can't wait to get started!
Track Record
Durbin's track record includes promotion as assistant at Hengrove Athletic, a record-breaking tenure as joint manager of Shepton Mallet, leading Paulton Rovers to a Somerset Cup Final, contributing to Brislington's promotion from Western League Division One, and helping Bristol Manor Farm stay in the play-off mix.
Manager's Comments
First Team Manager Ollie Price was full of praise:
Delighted that Durbs has agreed to join my management team. His knowledge, experience and personality is exactly what we need to improve us moving forward. I'm looking forward to working with him as he shares the same passion and enthusiasm that I do. Let's go to work.
Everyone at the club extends a warm welcome to John Durbin. The hard work for the new season starts now.
